Bridge 2 Sri Lanka is a small independent Charity set up in July 2005  to give humanitarian aid to the Tsunami affected people of Sri Lanka. The focus has evolved and changed and we are now helping other members of this impoverished community. Since the Tamil Tigers have set 2 bombs in the tourist area we work in, Tourism has collapsed and the result is that all the locals are now struggling as jobs are axed.

  
Bridge 2 Haiti was set up by Sarah Griffith in the aftermath of the Earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12th 2010. The aims are the same as that for Bridge 2 Sri Lanka. We want to direct aid to the people who are most in need and make sure it gets to them quickly and efficiently.
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and we need to focus our aid very carefully.

SARAH WOOD - artist painter
Sarah was born in England, studied fine art at Exeter, and after a year's post grad at Cyprus college of art, moved to France permanently in 1987. She divides her time now between exhibiting her own work, working on sets for theatre, opera and cinema, and painting murals for hotels and private clients. She has also worked on volunteer painting projects in Sri Lanka, the Seychelles and Ghana.
